I'm still alive...

yeah, so this blogging malarkey hasn't been in the forefront of my mind recently. There has been some problems at work recently and when Ive not been working Ive been sleeping. None of the problems have any effect with me, its just that the one person we are down at the moment just so happens to be the manager! oops! so Ive been running the place. good experience for me but not good for my well being, or sleep pattern!

Anyways enough of my whinging, on the the good stuff!

What time i have had off Ive been frittering away at boots and on eBay. Ive spent way too much money recently! ha ha! all that overtime is going to come in handy!

I'm going to do a haul TOMORROW! :)

Random thing I'm getting into at the moment its YouTube! Of course Ive always used it, but this last fortnight Ive been going crazy for it! ha ha! I'm addicted to the shaytards vlogs, a American family who film a diary everyday. Simple concept but it works damn well! The children are so adorable! Its what i hope my family will one day be!

OK, bad news....Ive had a break, a really nasty one at that. Picking up my Laptop to actually write a new post, didn't have a proper grip on it and it snagged and ripped my middle finger nail clean off. Yes its sore. :(

So i might not be posting about polish for a while, perhaps a couple of make-up reviews over the next week.

good quality, with good coverage only two coats was needed. This really does remind me of Alice in Wonderland! The Queen of Hearts would totally rock this as her Mani! Red with shimmer, if you look really close there is a tiny amount of pink in the shimmer. i usually dislike shimmers but this has won me over. Ive had so many compliments about it. I love it.

Nakey Nails! :O

Ok here goes....buckle up everyone! hahaha!

Honestly...i cant stand the sight of my finger nails with out polish on.

I'm a ex-biter, and as you can tell by the cuticle on my middle finger i still pick at my nails and the skin around. :( its a horrible habit but I'm far better now that i was! When Ive got polish on, i don't even think of nibbling. But seeing them with out anything on makes me shudder!

Length wise this is about as long as i can go, i work in retail and consistent opening of boxes, cashing up tills, counting up change and tidying leaves my hands having seen better days!

How do i remove my varnishes??

'Pretty Quik instant nail polish remover'

One of the dip and twist type removers. I'm pretty sure that this doesn't help the condition of my cuticles, but its by far the most efficient way of getting clean nails. Even on glitters this work wonders! prior to this i was using 'Cutex acetone free' which is OK, but hard work. I noticed in Superdrug on Tuesday that there is a Acetone free version of 'Pretty Quik' i think Il have to invest in that next i think. Acetone being generally better for nails and cuticles.

Hey hey!!

Welcome to my blogity blog! :)
This is a new venture for me, and it is by no means a serious meaningful look into the ins and outs of my meagre life. (that would be boring, i couldn't subject all you lovelies to that!)
Its just for me to share a few interests of mine, mainly Nail varnishes if I'm being honest. There might be a few make-up & hair care reviews, generally my pondering's of things girlie and pretty!

Im not claiming to be a expert on any of the things that i make entrys on, they are items i like and how i use them. :D They all also be products that are available in the UK, ive personally spent too much of my time, reading rave's about perticular items to find out that they are US only. :( that saddens me greatly.

Il try to update this as often as possible and try to post manicure of the day piccies when ive got a fresh mani on the go and maybe the occasional face of the day (when im feeling brave enough!)

For now im signing off, i hope that any one who reads this in the future enjoys it. like i said this is me writing about stuff i like in the hope that others enjoy reading it as much as i enjoy writing it! :)
